Jericho
Towering over the expanses of Polyus, the Tower of Babel has attracted settlers for centuries. Over time, the inhabitants of the mainland, together with the refugees who left the Leaves, settled in the areas around the Tower. Thus, in the very center of the Lotus World, a city called Jericho arose.
Mortals within the city's walls, lacking supervision from the Gods, created their own state, the Imperium. It was from Jericho that its last emperor, Cassius Deorum, led his armies, directing them against the Pantheons. Here he tried to subdue the power of the Sun through a special ritual, but failed. The cataclysm that followed, called the Retribution, split the luminary. The consequences of the ritual broke Cassius, and with him the Imperium.
When the Great War that followed the fall of the Imperium ended, the Gods entered Jericho as its masters. In an effort to gain full control over the mainland, the Pantheons established their residences and sent governors. Now, they rule Jericho and all of Polyus.
Regions of the Polyus
Belt of Civilization
Windy Wasteland
Ardor Valley
Terminus
The lands surrounding the city of Terminus. It was once an important trading center, but after the War of the Gods, it was never able to recover. Now, the city and the whole region itself are balancing on the brink, surviving from cattle breeding, alcohol production, and trade.
In the southwest of the Terminus Outskirts is a small settlement of Ratlins. Its residents are committed to peaceful coexistence with the townspeople.
Marauder's Wasteland
Frontier
During the reign of Cassius, there was active stone mining in these territories, as well as magical technology testing. After the death of the Emperor, the secondary vocation of the Frontier was forgotten, but the quarries remain in use.
Recently, control over the territory has passed into the hands of revenge seekers. From here, they plan to spread their influence over Polyus by recovering the remnants of Imperium technology.
Veterans' Line
Battlefield of Eternity
Once home to the thriving trade city of Mercat. Its well-being was ensured through trading with the Leaves and mining magic stones.
During the War of the Gods, a conflict between the Pantheons unfolded in these lands. Asgardian forces quickly occupied Mercat, but were besieged by Nephar's forces. Seeing no other way to destroy the enemies, the Asgardian mages sacrificed themselves and placed a curse on the lands around the city. This curse causes anyone who finds themselves on the Battlefield of Eternity to be filled with bloodlust. After decades of incessant battles in these lands, only madmen and ghosts remain.
Lands of Doom
Lands that neither the Imperium nor the Pantheons wanted to control. They are the main haven for Polyus's marauders. These are the lands the marauders came to the Wasteland from, which they later used for raids.
The Lands of Doom are an extremely dangerous place. Anyone who chooses to set foot here risks dying from a marauder's blade or becoming an unwitting slave.

Races
Beneath the rays of the Broken Sun, several mortal races struggle for their existence. They inhabit all the Leaves, with different roots and histories.
In the snowy mountains of Asgard, dwarves forge superior weapons and armor. Their crafts are used by the best of the warriors, whose ranks include dwarves themselves.
Living in the fertile expanses of Olympus, the elves faithfully serve the Gods. They are completely devoted to their work and invariably become experts in whatever they do, to the delight of their masters.
Known for their strength and ferocity, the dog-headed horgs keep watch in Nephar's temples and palaces. Meanwhile, the cat-like kushiri lead trade caravans from one oasis to another.
Humans, as the most populous race, act as a link between all the peoples of the Lotus World.
Revenge Seekers
This is what the radical mortals who long for the revival of the Imperium in Polyus call themselves. Life under the rule of the Pantheons does not suit everyone. Many inhabitants of the central continent have to struggle to get by.
The revenge seekers take advantage of this fact by fanning the flames of public discontent toward the Gods and their supporters. Particularly ardent opponents of the rule of immortals join the ranks of the revenge seekers. By acting outside the law, they undermine the current order using an organized network of numerous agents who have infiltrated all levels of Jericho's society.
Marauders
Marauder"" is the collective name for the barbarians of Polyus. Centuries ago, their ancestors had retreated to Polyus's remote lands, refusing to participate in the cruel rituals of the Sun cult that dominated the Imperium.
Having led a nomadic lifestyle for centuries, fighting for their existence, these people formed a new tribal order. Looting and slave owning became natural ways for them to survive. The marauders rejected the traditions of the Sun worshipers and created the cult of the Mother of the Depths, the Ether deity. Recently, they have begun to conduct raids on the inhabitants of Polyus not only for profit, but also in the name of their faith.
Ratlins
A race of intelligent rat people. Less than a century ago, they were simple, cave-dwelling predators in the northwest of Polyus. When the Sun shattered, some of its shards fell into the rats' habitat. When they were exposed to the radiation of the shards, the cave dwellers underwent changes and gained sentience to become the Ratlins.
Having adjusted to their new world, members of this new race began to actively build up their strength. The Ratlins will soon be ready to join the battle for their place under the broken Sun.
