Game Rules

Before going on an exciting adventure, it is important to familiarize yourself with the basic rules of conduct and communication that will help create a comfortable atmosphere for all participants in the game.

1. Basic terms

• Game - the computer game "Broken Sun", available at the Internet address: brokensun.com.
• Player - any individual who has reached the age of 18 and participates in the game "Broken Sun".
• Game account - an account created by the user to access the game. If you have an account in the game, it can also be used to log in to the official portal and forum of Broken Sun.
• Administration - a group of authorized representatives of Redneck Studio LLC, managing the Broken Sun game and responsible for enforcing the rules.
• Moderators - persons appointed by the Administration who help it monitor compliance with the Rules in the game.
• Closed beta testing (hereinafter referred to as CBT) - a stage of testing the game, available to a limited number of players, conducted to evaluate and subsequently improve gaming processes.
• Content - all materials posted in the game or on the official Broken Sun portal, including text, images, sound and video.

2. General Provisions

These Game Rules (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) are mandatory for all Users of the Broken Sun game. In addition to these Rules, players are also required to comply with the User Agreement, as well as other rules, policies and agreements related to the game.

The Rules govern all aspects of the gameplay in the Broken Sun game, including, but not limited to, interaction in the game chat, participation in events and activities, as well as communication with other players and the Administration.

The terms used in these Rules are equally related to the corresponding terms of the User Agreement. The Administration and Moderators monitor compliance with the Rules. Please note that these Rules and the restrictions described in them are not exhaustive and do not cover all possible options for incorrect or unacceptable behavior.

2.1. The purpose of the game

The game is designed to provide players with a unique gaming experience that combines elements of role-playing, strategy and interaction in a multiplayer environment. Players are given the opportunity to participate in battles, explore the game world, complete tasks and take part in many other aspects of the gameplay.

2.2. Basic principles of behavior

All players are required to comply with the established Rules to ensure a comfortable and safe gaming process. Each participant of the game must show respect to other users and the Administration, maintain a friendly atmosphere and avoid conflict situations.

2.3. Responsibility for violation of the rules

Various measures of influence are provided for violation of the Rules, including the following types of punishment:

• Warning from the Moderator or Administration;
• Blocking the account for a period of 1 to 14 days;
• Permanent blocking of the account.

Maintenance of order and control over compliance with the Rules in the game are carried out by Moderators, in certain situations - by the Administration.

Any of the above punishments can be modified and applied by the Administration on an individual basis.

2.4. Evaluation of messages and actions

The final evaluation of messages and actions of players is carried out by Moderators and Administration, who decide on the presence or absence of violations and the application of the type of punishment based on these Rules, internal assessment and personal experience. 2.5. Appealing decisions

If the player disagrees with the decision of the Moderator or Administration, he/she can also appeal it by contacting Support: support@brokensun.com. All complaints must contain clear and reasoned explanations. They will be considered by the Administration in order of priority.

2.6. Protecting Players' Rights

The Broken Sun administration adheres to the principles of transparency and fairness. All players have the right to a fair consideration of their complaints and statements, as well as to the protection of their rights within the game.

3. Prohibited Actions

The following actions are prohibited in the Game, general game channels and other channels:

3.1. Violations of the rules of communication
3.1.1 It is strictly forbidden to send messages and use materials in the in-game chat and other channels that contain violence, threats, pornography or other sexual connotations, extremism, slander, insults and obscene language and other unacceptable materials, including knowingly false, offensive, discriminatory on racial, religious or other grounds or obscene information, as well as any other materials that violate the rights and interests of third parties and / or the legislation of the Russian Federation.
3.1.2. It is strictly forbidden to use in user names, character names and descriptions unacceptable content containing insults and humiliation of human dignity, sexual connotations, obscene language, it is also not allowed to use the names of current and former politicians, historical and public figures, including in a veiled form.
3.1.3. It is prohibited to use links to third-party resources in user names, character names or other attributes, as well as names similar to the nicknames of the Game Administration and words that may incite hatred, violence, extremism and discrimination.
If the names violate the Rules, they will be changed by the Administration to technical nicknames.
3.1.4. It is prohibited to post provocative messages with the aim of causing a negative reaction from other users (trolling).
3.1.5. It is prohibited to create and/or participate in groups that promote hatred based on nationality, religion, gender or other grounds.
3.1.6. It is prohibited to threaten, insult or violate the personal space of other players and representatives of the Administration in any form.
3.1.7. It is prohibited to submit false complaints or reports on other players, as well as mislead the Administration.
3.1.8. Promotion of alcohol, tobacco or any narcotic or prohibited substances, use of firearms is prohibited.
3.1.9. Other types of behavior that violate the laws of the Russian Federation are prohibited.

3.2. Use of personal information:
3.2.1. It is prohibited to collect or use players' personal data (email addresses, residential addresses, etc.) for sending advertisements, spam, or other illegal activities.
3.2.2. It is prohibited to transfer personal information about players through in-game or third-party communication tools.

3.3. Interfering with the normal operation of the chat:
3.3.1. It is prohibited to disrupt the operation of game chats with messages that do not carry any semantic load, repeated messages or messages that are not related to the topic of discussion (flood).
3.3.2. It is prohibited to provoke and participate in aggressive disputes in game chats that lead to conflicts and insults and violate respectful communication (flaming).
3.3.3. It is prohibited to use excessive capital letters, send spam or repeatedly repeated messages that hinder communication in game chats.
3.3.4. It is prohibited to advertise and promote any goods or services through the game platform or game portal without the permission of the Administration.
3.3.5. It is prohibited to publish links to sites that contain inappropriate content, as well as links to third-party products or malware.

3.4. Hacking attempts and unfair play methods
3.4.1.Any attempts to hack, decrypt, or intercept data related to the game or its services are prohibited.
3.4.2. Using other people's credentials is prohibited, as well as attempts to access other people's accounts or transfer your credentials to third parties.
3.4.3. Falsification of data. It is prohibited to hide or forge personal data that is required to register an account.
3.4.4. Modification of the game client. The game client, server software and the game website are not subject to modification, and any interference with their operation is strictly prohibited.

4. Gameplay

4.1. The following is prohibited in the gameplay:
4.1.1. Creating and/or participating in collusive battles. Collusion is a tacit agreement reached in circumvention of the Rules with the aim of obtaining benefits.
4.1.2. Creation, use and advertising of programs that imitate the actions of players in the game (bots), clicker programs, emulators, keyboard and mouse control macros, and/or other similar methods of accumulating in-game achievements, as well as other forms of behavior that the Administration deems unfair.
4.1.3. Any actions that interfere with the normal course of the gameplay: using errors, bugs, or intentionally interrupting the game to gain an advantage.
4.1.4. Public distribution or use of game errors that provide an advantage, if they have not been declared by the developers.
4.1.5. Creation and use of multiple accounts by one user to bypass account blocking or mislead other users.

4.2. The game and its resources are intended solely for the personal use of players. Any commercial use is prohibited:
4.2.1. It is prohibited to sell, transfer or advertise accounts, game items or other resources for real money.
4.2.2. Trading in-game currency on third-party services is prohibited.

4.3. Although the game is role-playing in nature, the use of role-playing cannot serve as an excuse for violating the Rules.

5. Regulations on the Administration

5.1. Players are required to follow the directions and instructions provided by the Game Administration.

5.2. The Administration reserves the right to finally determine what constitutes a violation of the Rules.

5.3. Players are prohibited from:
5.3.1. Pretending to be a support service employee or a representative of the Game Administration.
5.3.2. Discussing the actions of the Administration and Moderators. In case of disagreement with the actions of the latter, you should contact Support: support@brokensun.com.

6. Closed Beta Testing Confidentiality Policy

6.1. Participation in the Broken Sun closed beta testing implies compliance with the confidentiality conditions and non-disclosure agreement, which come into force upon the player's pre-registration.

6.2. Any violation of the terms of thePrivacy Policy or dissemination of inside information may damage the game. In this regard, the Administration reserves the right to unilaterally terminate access to testing in accordance with the Game Rules.

6.3. The Player has no right:
6.3.1. Discuss Game details or its mechanics outside of the communication channels specifically designated for this purpose.
6.3.2. Share screenshots, videos or any other information about the Game on open social networks, forums or other public platforms (i.e. outside of the communication channels specifically designated for this purpose).
6.3.3. Publish any information about the closed beta testing process without explicit permission from the Administration.

6.4. It is prohibited:
6.4.1. Violate the User Agreement.
6.4.2. Violate the Game Rules.
6.4.3. Violate the Forum Rules.
6.4.4. Publish materials and information about the Game in the public domain, as well as communicate this information to any third parties outside the channels designated by the Administration (forum sections, closed groups of CBT participants on social networks, etc.).

6.5. Violation of the specified provisions on the confidentiality of the CBT may lead to immediate exclusion from testing and blocking of your account.

6.6. The Administration reserves the right to independently interpret these and other violations and apply punishment at its own discretion.

7. Compliance with Law

7.1. Users undertake not to commit actions that violate the laws of the Russian Federation, international legal acts and regulations, as well as the Rules established by the Game Administration.

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in measures being taken against the player, including blocking the account.

Players are fully responsible for actions taken during the gameplay, in accordance with applicable law and the Game Rules.

The administration reserves the right to apply any measures to players without possible appeals or explanations.

7.2. Illegal activity:
7.2.1. Using the Game and its resources for the purpose of violating the laws of the Russian Federation will be considered a violation of the Game Rules.
7.2.2. Any harm caused to the player or his in-game resources, as well as the Administration, will be regarded as a violation of the Rules and will entail punishment.
7.2.3. In the event of a violation by the player of the current laws of the Russian Federation, all responsibility for such actions falls entirely on him.

7.3. Fraudulent actions
7.3.1. Fraud means theft of someone else's property or acquisition of rights to someone else's property, including in-game currency and resources, by deception or abuse of trust.
7.3.2. Any manipulations related to game content may be considered fraudulent and entail liability.
7.3.3. In the event of detection of illegal actions, the Administration reserves the right to notify law enforcement agencies.

8. Security of account data

8.1. The player must independently keep his login and password secret.

8.2. It is prohibited to transfer account data to third parties for any reason.

8.3. The Player is obliged to contact the Administration as soon as he becomes aware that someone has used his account without his consent.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. The Game Administration reserves the right to change these Rules at any time without prior notice. Changes come into force from the moment of their publication.
9.2. Users agree to independently monitor changes in the Game Rules, User Agreement and other rules, policies and agreements related to the game.
9.3. The User is personally responsible for all information posted by him, its accuracy and compliance with the Game Rules and User Agreement.
9.4. The Administration does not guarantee the constant availability of the game.
